BACP
I am registered with the BACP - British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and my BACP membership number is 00917164.
I adhere to the BACP ethical framework, for example, I am committed to providing counselling that follows the principles of respecting clients' autonomy, being non judgemental, ensuring that clients feel safe, and empowering clients to be their true, unique selves.
My counselling approach
I integrate Psychodynamic and Person-Centred therapy to offer a therapy experience that is both insightful and supportive.
Psychodynamic therapy explores how past experiences, unconscious patterns, and early relationships may be influencing your present emotions and behaviours. By gaining awareness of these dynamics, we can uncover the roots of your struggles and find healthier ways forward.
Person-Centred therapy creates a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel accepted and valued. This client-led approach empowers you to explore your feelings openly and find your own answers with my support.
Integrating these approaches allows me to adapt the therapy to your unique needs - whether you’re looking for deeper self-understanding, support through a difficult period, or tools to improve your relationships.
Couples therapy approach
Relationships can be incredibly rewarding and they can also be challenging, which can leave you feeling stuck, disconnected, or misunderstood. I work with couples to improve communication, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection. My integrative approach helps couples to explore both present struggles and underlying patterns that may be contributing to conflict or disconnection.
